Lisa Pinkard
Lisa Pinkard-Adams is the Chief Operations Officer for Legacy. She received her Masters Degree in Social Work from Fordham University in December of 2020. She also received her B.S. Degree in Legal Studies from St. John’s University in Queens, NY in 2014. Lisa worked for the County of Suffolk serving as the first African American female Chief of Staff to the Ninth District Legislative Office for more than five (5) years. She was born in Clifton Park, New York where she grew up with mother, father and four siblings. Today, Lisa Pinkard-Adams continues fulfilling her vision of building “community” through Truth Center’s Legacy Development Corporation. She firmly believes that building “people” is a part of building “community”. Lisa uses her knowledge of the legal field and the political world to educate all those she encounters on the importance of education and civic engagement. She is a woman of faith that believes in the possibility of collaborative change.
